The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded him to go out and announce that there is no prayer except with the recitation of the Opening of the Book and whatever is added to it.

أن رسول الله ﷺ أمره أن يخرج فينادي أن لا صلاة إلا بقراءة فاتحة الكتاب فما زاد
