The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me, for Satan cannot take my form."
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ من رآني في المنام فقد رآني الحق إن الشيطان لا يستطيع أن يتشبه بي
Its isnad is sahih, and it has already appeared at 8971, see also 7476, 8678, and Abu Dawud 2574, Tirmidhi 22, and Nasai 6/227.
