The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most burdensome prayers for the hypocrites are the night prayer and the dawn prayer. If they only knew what they contain, they would come to them even if they had to crawl. I had a mind to order the muezzin to call the prayer, then order a man to lead the people in prayer, then set out with Some men carrying bundles of firewood to those who stay back from the prayer, and burn down their houses upon them with fire."
حدثنا أبو معاوية قال حدثنا الأعمش وابن نمير قال أخبرنا الأعمش المعنى عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ أثقل الصلاة على المنافقين صلاة العشاء وصلاة الفجر ولو يعلمون ما فيهما لأتوهما ولو حبوا ولقد هممت أن آمر المؤذن فيؤذن ثم آمر رجلا يصلي بالناس ثم أنطلق معي برجال معهم حزم الحطب إلى قوم يتخلفون عن الصلاة فأحرق عليهم بيوتهم بالنار
