The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have resolved never to stay behind from any expedition setting out in the cause of Allah, except that I do not have the means to provide mounts for the men. I would love to be killed in the cause of Allah, then brought back to life, then killed again, then brought back to life, then killed again."
