The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to his companions while they were debating about the tree that is "uprooted from the surface of the earth, having no stability" [Ibrahim 14:26].Some of them said, "I think it is the truffle."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The truffle is from the manna, and its juice is a cure for the eye. The Ajwah date is from Paradise, and it is a cure for poison."
حدثنا حسن بن موسى حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن قتادة وجعفر بن أبي وحشية وعباد بن منصور عن شهر بن حوشب
أن رسول الله ﷺ خرج على أصحابه وهم يتنازعون في الشجرة التي اجتثت من فوق الأرض ما لها من قرار فقال بعضهم أحسبها الكمأة فقال رسول الله ﷺ الكمأة من المن وماؤها شفاء للعين والعجوة من الجنة وهي شفاء للسم
Its isnad is hasan. The hadith was reported by Humaydi, 1/44, no. 82, in the narrations of Saeed bin Zayd, and by Tabarani in Al-Kabir, 12/63, no. 12481, and Al-Saghir, 1/125. As for the hadith of the truffle being from manna, it was reported by Bukhari, 7/164, and Muslim, 3/1919, no. 2049.
