The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Five practices are part of the natural disposition: circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, plucking the underarm hair, trimming the nails, and clipping the moustache."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا معمر قال أخبرنا الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب
قال رسول الله ﷺ خمس من الفطرة الختان والاستحداد ونتف الإبط وتقليم الأظفار وقص الشارب
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it in 4/84, no. 4198, in "Combing the Hair," "Trimming the Mustache," Tirmidhi in 5/91, no. 2756, in "Manners," "What Has Been Said About Trimming the Nails," and he said, hasan sahih, Nasai in 1/14, no. 10, and Ibn Majah in 1/107, no. 292.
