The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Wine comes from these two trees, the date palm and the grapevine."
حدثنا عفان قال حدثنا أبان العطار قال حدثنا يحيى بن أبي كثير قال حدثنا أبو كثير العنبري
أن نبي الله ﷺ كان يقول الخمر من هاتين الشجرتين من النخلة والعنبة
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It has already appeared in 2/279. Abu Kathir is al-Abdi, not al-Anbari as will come later in 9268. It is said that his name was Yazid bin Abdul-Rahman, and he is trustworthy.
