The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to make this supplication before sleeping, "O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, who sent down the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran, who splits the seed and the date stone, there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every creature whose forelock is in Your grasp. You are the First, with nothing before You. You are the Last, with nothing after You. You are the Manifest, with nothing above You. You are the Hidden, with nothing beneath You. Settle our debt for us and free us from poverty."
حدثنا خلف بن الوليد قال حدثنا ابن عياش عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يدعو عند النوم اللهم رب السموات السبع ورب العرش العظيم ربنا ورب كل شيء منزل التوراة والإنجيل والقرآن فالق الحب والنوى لا إله إلا أنت أعوذ بك من شر كل شيء أنت آخذ بناصيته أنت الأول ليس قبلك شيء وأنت الآخر ليس بعدك شيء وأنت الظاهر ليس فوقك شيء وأنت الباطن ليس دونك شيء اقض عنا الدين وأغننا من الفقر
