The Prophet ﷺ forbade meeting traders on the way to intercept their goods, and forbade a town dweller from selling on behalf of a desert dweller.
حدثنا علي بن إسحاق قال حدثنا عبد الله قال أخبرنا عبيد الله بن عمر عن سعيد المقبري
عن النبي ﷺ أنه نهى عن التلقي وأن يبيع حاضر لباد
Its isnad is sahih. It occurred previously at 4708, and it was also narrated by Nasai 7/257, Ibn Abu Shayba 6/399, and Bayhaqi 5/317.
