The Prophet ﷺ said, "It would not please me to have a mountain of gold like Uhud, and after three days have a single piece of it remain with me, except what I would set aside to repay a debt. Those who have the most will be the ones with the least on the Day of Resurrection, except for the one who gives like this, and like this, and like this, and like this," gesturing to his right, to his left, in front of him, and behind him, "and they are few."
حدثنا معاوية قال حدثنا زائدة عن عاصم عن أبي صالح
عن النبي ﷺ قال ما أحب أن أحدا ذاكم يحول ذهبا يكون عندي بعد ثلاث منه شيء إلا شيئا أرصده لدين إن الأكثرين هم الأقلون يوم القيامة إلا من قال هكذا وهكذا وهكذا وهكذا وقليل ما هم عن يمينه وعن شماله وبين يديه ووراءه
