Abu Hurairah reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "If anyone's neighbor asks permission to fix a wooden beam into his wall, he must not refuse him."Then Abu Hurairah said, "Why do I see you turning away from this ruling? By Allah, I will keep hurling it between your shoulders."
حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي العباس قال حدثنا أبو أويس قال قال الزهري سمعت عبد الرحمن بن هرمز الأعرج يقول
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول من سأل جاره أن يضع خشبة في جداره فلا يمنعه ثم قال أبو هريرة ما لي أراكم عنها معرضين والله لأرمين بها بين أكتافكم
Its isnad is sahih. It has previously appeared at 7275 and will appear again at 9923. It is found in Bukhari 2/869, no. 2331, Baghas edition, with the wording, "No neighbor should prevent his neighbor," in the chapter on wrongs, "No neighbor should prevent his neighbor," and in Muslim 3/1230, no. 1609, in the chapter on sharecropping, "Fixing wood in a neighbor's wall."9119m - Ibrahim bin Abu Abbas told us, he said, Abu Uways told us.
