A man was owed a camel of a particular age by the Prophet ﷺ, so he came to claim what was due. They searched for a camel of that age but could find only one older than what was owed. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Give it to him."The man said, "You have paid me in full, may Allah pay you in full."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "The best of you are those who repay their debts most graciously."
حدثنا الفضل بن دكين قال أخبرنا سفيان عن سلمة بن كهيل عن أبي سلمة
كان لرجل على النبي ﷺ سن من الإبل فجاءه يتقاضاه فطلبوا له فلم يجدوا إلا سنا فوق سنه فقال أعطوه فقال أوفيتني أوفى الله لك قال فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن خياركم أحسنكم قضاء
