The Prophet ﷺ said, "Intense heat is from the blast of Hell, so delay the prayer until it cools down."
حدثنا حسين قال حدثنا ابن أبي ذئب عن أبي الوليد وعبد الرحمن بن سعد
عن النبي ﷺ قال إن شدة الحر من فيح جهنم فأبردوا بالصلاة
Its isnad is sahih, coming through Abdul-Rahman bin Saad, and daif coming through Abu Walid. This has already appeared in (7245) with a sahih isnad, and something similar was narrated by Bukhari 1/142, in the book on prayer times, chapter on delaying Dhuhr in extreme heat, and Muslim 1/430 no. 615, the book on mosques, chapter on the recommendation of delaying Dhuhr in extreme heat, and Abu Dawud 1/110 no. 402, in the book on prayer, chapter on the time of Dhuhr prayer, and Ibn Khuzayma 1/170 no. 329.
