Abu Hurairah reported,

Jibreel came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I came last night, but the only thing that prevented me from entering upon you was that there was a picture or a dog in the house."

عن أبي هريرة قال

أتى جبريل عليه السلام النبي ﷺ قال إني جئت البارحة فلم يمنعني أن أدخل عليك إلا أنه كان في البيت صورة أو كلب
