Abu Hurairah reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah 
is jealous, and part of Allah's jealousy is that a believer should approach what He has forbidden him."

Its isnad is sahih. It was mentioned previously at 7209, and Bukhari related it in 6/233, in the Excellence of the Quran, chapter on the excellence of "Say, He is Allah, the One," and Tabarani in Al-Kabir, 17/255, number 706, from Abu Masud Ansari, and Tahawi in Mushkil, 2/81, also from Abu Masud.
