Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, giving glad tidings to his companions, "The month of Ramadan has come to you, a blessed month in which Allah has made fasting obligatory upon you. During it, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained. In it is a night better than a thousand months. Whoever is deprived of its goodness has truly been deprived."

قال رسول الله ﷺ يبشر أصحابه قد جاءكم شهر رمضان شهر مبارك افترض الله عليكم صيامه يفتح فيه أبواب الجنة ويغلق فيه أبواب الجحيم وتغل فيه الشياطين فيه ليلة خير من ألف شهر من حرم خيرها فقد حرم
