The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to a group of women from the Ansar, "No woman among you loses three children and bears it patiently, hoping for reward, except that she will enter Paradise."One of the women asked, "Or two, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Or two."
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا عبد العزيز عن سهيل عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ يعني قال لنسوة من الأنصار لا يموت لإحداكن ثلاثة من الولد فتحتسبه إلا دخلت الجنة فقالت امرأة منهن أو اثنان يا رسول الله قال أو اثنان
Its isnad is sahih. It is found in Muslim 4/2028, no. 2632, in the Book of Righteousness, on the merit of one whose child dies, and in Tirmidhi 3/365, no. 1060, in the Book of Funerals, on what has been said about the reward of one who loses a child in death, where he said, hasan sahih, and in Nasai 4/25, no. 1875, in the Book of Funerals, on one who loses three children, all of them narrating from Abu Hurairah with a similar wording. It is also found in Bukhari 1/36, in the Book of Knowledge, on whether a day should be set aside for women, narrated from Abu Saeed with a different wording.8902m With this same isnad, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "At the mountain passes leading into Madinah there are angels. Neither plague nor Dajjal can enter it." Sahih (8902m). Its isnad is sahih, and it has already been mentioned shortly before, at 8862.
