Abu Hurairah reported,

A man came and sat near the Prophet ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "Where are you from?"The man replied, "I am a Berber."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Get away from me," gesturing with his elbow like this.When the man had left, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned to us and said, "Faith does not pass beyond their throats."

حدثنا سريج قال حدثنا عبد الله بن نافع قال حدثني ابن أبي ذئب عن صالح مولى التوأمة

عن أبي هريرة قال

جلس إلى النبي ﷺ رجل فقال له رسول الله ﷺ من أين أنت قال بربري فقال له رسول الله ﷺ قم عني قال بمرفقه هكذا فلما قام عنه أقبل علينا رسول الله ﷺ فقال إن الإيمان لا يجاوز حناجرهم
