Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "People must abandon their boasting about their pre-Islamic ancestors, or else they will become more detestable to Allah than dung beetles."

حدثنا خلف بن الوليد قال حدثنا أبو معشر عن سعيد

عن أبي هريرة قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ ليدعن الناس فخرهم في الجاهلية أو ليكونن أبغض إلى الله عز وجل من الخنافس
