The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever spends a pair, or he said two pairs, of his wealth," and I think he said, "in the cause of Allah, the keepers of Paradise will call out to him, 'Muslim, here is something good, come this way!'"Abu Bakr asked, "Such a person would suffer no loss at all. Could there be anyone who is called from all of these gates?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "No wealth has ever benefited me as much as the wealth of Abu Bakr."Abu Bakr wept and said, "Has Allah benefited me with anything except through you? Has Allah benefited me with anything except through you? Has Allah benefited me with anything except through you?"
حدثنا معاوية قال حدثنا أبو إسحاق يعني الفزاري عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أنفق زوجا أو قال زوجين من ماله أراه قال في سبيل الله دعته خزنة الجنة يا مسلم هذا خير هلم إليه فقال أبو بكر هذا رجل لا تودى عليه فقال رسول الله ﷺ ما نفعني مال قط إلا مال أبي بكر قال فبكى أبو بكر وقال وهل نفعني الله إلا بك وهل نفعني الله إلا بك وهل نفعني الله إلا بك
