Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah عز وجل has roving angels, unassigned to any fixed duty, who seek out the gatherings where Allah is remembered. When they find such remembrance, they join it, and when they come upon a gathering of remembrance they mount one above the other until they reach the Throne. Then Allah عز وجل asks them, though He knows best, 'Where have you come from?'They reply, 'From some servants of Yours. They were asking You for Paradise, seeking refuge with You from the Fire, and begging Your forgiveness.'He says, 'They ask Me for My Paradise. Have they seen it? How would they be if they had seen it? And they seek refuge from the Fire of Hell. How would they be if they had seen it? Indeed, I have forgiven them.'They say, 'Our Lord, among them is that sinful servant of Yours, so-and-so. He was only passing by on some errand of his own and sat down with them.'Allah عز وجل says, 'Those are companions whose companion is never left wretched.'"
