The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best form of charity is the gift of a milk-giving animal lent for use. It comes in the morning with reward and returns in the evening with reward. Lending out a she-camel for milking is like freeing a red slave, and lending out a sheep for milking is like freeing a black slave."
