A Black woman, or a man, used to clean the mosque. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ noticed his absence and asked about him.They said, "He died."He said, "Why did you not inform me?"They replied, "It was at night."He said, "Show me his grave."So they showed him, and he came to the grave and prayed over him.
حدثنا يونس بن محمد حدثنا حماد يعني ابن زيد عن ثابت عن أبي رافع
أن امرأة سوداء أو رجلا كان يقم المسجد ففقده رسول الله ﷺ فسأل عنه فقالوا مات فقال ألا كنتم آذنتموني به قالوا إنه كان ليلا قال فقال دلوني على قبره فدلوه فأتى قبره فصلى عليه
