The Prophet ﷺ said, "Beware of fasting continuously without breaking the fast," repeating it twice.They said, "But you yourself fast continuously, Messenger of Allah."He replied, "I am not like you in that. I spend the night while my Lord feeds me and gives me drink. So do not burden yourselves with deeds beyond your capacity."

عن النبي ﷺ قال إياكم والوصال مرتين قالوا فإنك تواصل يا رسول الله قال إني لست في ذلك مثلكم إني أبيت يطعمني ربي ويسقيني فلا تكلفوا أنفسكم من العمل ما ليس لكم به طاقة
