Naeem reported that he climbed up to Abu Hurairah on the roof of the mosque and found him performing ablution. Abu Hurairah extended the washing up to his upper arms, then turned to me and said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'My community on the Day of Resurrection will be distinguished by the radiant marks on their faces, hands, and feet from the traces of ablution. So whoever among you can extend the radiance, let him do so.'"Naeem said, "I do not know whether the statement, 'Whoever can extend his radiance, let him do so,' is from the words of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or from the words of Abu Hurairah."

أنه رقي إلى أبي هريرة على ظهر المسجد وهو يتوضأ فرفع في عضديه ثم أقبل علي فقال إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن أمتي يوم القيامة هم الغر المحجلون من آثار الوضوء فمن استطاع منكم أن يطيل غرته فليفعل فقال نعيم لا أدري قوله من استطاع أن يطيل غرته فليفعل من قول رسول الله ﷺ أو من قول أبي هريرة
