When the verse "And warn your closest kin" [Shuara 26:214] was revealed, the Prophet ﷺ began calling out to the clans of Quraysh one by one, saying, "Sons of so-and-so, save yourselves from the Fire," until he came to Fatimah and said, "Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad, save yourself from the Fire. I have no power to benefit you with Allah in any way, except that you have ties of kinship which I shall keep moist with their due moisture."
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith from Qutayba and Zuhayr bin Harb, Tirmidhi narrated it in the tafsir from Ubayd bin Humayd, and Nasai narrated it in the Book of Bequests from Ishaq bin Ibrahim.
