The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The righteous slave receives two rewards." By the One in whose hand is the soul of Abu Hurairah, were it not for jihad in the path of Allah, the pilgrimage, and dutifulness to my mother, I would have loved to die as a slave.
حدثنا عثمان بن عمر قال ثنا يونس عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال للعبد المصلح المملوك أجران والذي نفس أبي هريرة بيده لولا الجهاد في سبيل الله والحج وبر أمي لأحببت أن أموت وأنا مملوك
