The traders' vouchers were issued, and the merchants sought permission from Marwan to sell them, and he gave them permission. Abu Hurairah came to him and said, "You have permitted the sale of usury! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that food be purchased and then sold before it is taken into possession."Sulayman said, "I then saw Marwan dispatch the guards, who began snatching the vouchers from the hands of those who had no scruples about dealing in them."
حدثنا أبو بكر الحنفي حدثنا الضحاك بن عثمان حدثني بكير بن عبد الله بن الأشج
أن صكاك التجار خرجت فاستأذن التجار مروان في بيعها فأذن لهم فدخل أبو هريرة عليه فقال له أذنت في بيع الربا وقد نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن يشترى الطعام ثم يباع حتى يستوفى قال سليمان فرأيت مروان بعث الحرس فجعلوا ينتزعون الصكاك من أيدي من لا يتحرج منهم
