Its isnad is sahih, and Muhammad is Ibn Talha bin Musarrif al-Yami al-Kufi. Bukhari related it in al-Adab from Qutayba, Muslim related it in al-Adab from Qutayba and Zuhayr and from Abu Kurayb, and Ibn Majah related it in al-Wasaya from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba.
