The Prophet ﷺ used to visit the home of a certain family from the Ansar, while passing by another home that lay before theirs. This troubled the people of the home he did not visit, and they said, "Messenger of Allah, glory be to Allah, you visit so-and-so's home but you do not visit ours."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "That is because there is a dog in your home."They said, "But there is a cat in their home."The Prophet ﷺ said, "The cat is a wild beast."
