Abu Hurairah reported,
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah 
created Adam in His image."In the book of Ubayy it adds, "and his height was sixty cubits," but I am not sure whether he related this part to us or not.

Ahmad Shakir
Ibn Khuzayma narrated it, and he said concerning its meaning that there is a reason behind it, namely that the Prophet ﷺ saw a man striking another man's face, and he said, "Do not strike him on the face, for Allah created Adam in his image." The view that the pronoun refers to the man who was struck was stated by someone other than Ibn Khuzayma.
