The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ibrahim, the intimate friend of the Most Merciful, was circumcised after eighty years had passed over him, and he was circumcised with an adze." The word qadum is pronounced with a light (unstressed) letter.
حدثنا علي بن حفص أخبرنا ورقاء عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
قال رسول الله ﷺ اختتن إبراهيم خليل الرحمن بعدما أتت عليه ثمانون سنة واختتن بالقدوم مخففة
