The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Arrogance and boastfulness belong to the owners of horses and camels, while tranquility belongs to those who keep sheep."
وقال رسول الله ﷺ الخيلاء والفخر في أهل الخيل والإبل والسكينة في أهل الغنم
A sahih hadith, narrated by Muslim, vol. 1, p. 52, from Araj, who said, Abu Hurairah said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The head of disbelief lies toward the east, and pride and arrogance are found among the people of horses and camels, and the loud boastful herders belong to the people of the tents, while tranquility is found among the people of sheep."
