The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Children of Israil were told, 'Enter the gate prostrating and say, Relieve us of our burdens, and We will forgive you your sins' [Baqarah 2:58]. But they altered it. They entered the gate dragging themselves along on their backsides, and they said, 'A grain in a barley ear.'"
وقال رسول الله ﷺ قيل لبني إسرائيل {ادخلوا الباب سجدا وقولوا حطة نغفر لكم خطاياكم} فبدلوا فدخلوا الباب يزحفون على أستاههم وقالوا حبة في شعرة
