Abu Hurairah reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah 
has said, 'When My servant comes to meet Me by a hand's span, I meet him by a forearm's length. When he comes to meet Me by a forearm's length, I meet him by an arm's span. And when he comes to meet Me by an arm's span, I come to him faster still.'"

Sahihوقال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله عز وجل قال إذا تلقاني عبدي بشبر تلقيته بذراع وإذا تلقاني بذراع تلقيته بباع وإذا تلقاني بباع جئته بأسرع
This hadith is also found in the Individual Manuscript, number 80. Muslim narrated it [8:63 S / 2:307 Bulaq] through the route of the manuscript, but Bukhari did not narrate it through that route. However, its meaning is established in his book, 13:325-328 [Fath], within a hadith narrated by Salih from Abu Hurairah, and that hadith has already passed at 7416, where we detailed its sourcing.
