The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a dog drinks from one of your vessels, the way to purify it is to wash it seven times."
وقال رسول الله ﷺ لله تسعة وتسعون اسما مائة إلا واحدا من أحصاها دخل الجنة إنه وتر يحب الوتر
This is a sahih hadith, like those before it. It is in the individual manuscript, numbered 33. It has already occurred at 7612, narrated by Maamar from Ayub, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurairah, and from Hammam from Abu Hurairah, with the wording, "Indeed, Allah..." Muslim also narrated it likewise [8:63 S / 2:307, Bulaq edition], through the route of Abdul-Razzaq from Maamar. There, the reference to its location in the Bulaq edition of Muslim indicated that it was in the first volume, but this is a printing error, the correct location being the second volume, as we have mentioned here. Bukhari narrated it at 11:180–194 of Fath al-Bari, from the copy of Aaraj, and it has already occurred through that route at 7493. We have given the full sourcing for it there.
