Allah loves to see the effect of His blessing upon His servant.
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم حدثنا شريك عن ابن موهب عن أبيه
إن الله عز وجل يحب أن يرى أثر نعمته على عبده
Its isnad is daif. Ibn Mawhab is Yahya bin Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Mawhab Taymi, and he is daif. Imam Ahmad said, "His hadith is munkar, he is not trustworthy." Ibn Main said, "He is nothing." Ibn Hibban said in Kitab Majruheen, pages 498-499 [photographed manuscript], "He narrates from his father things that have no basis, while his father is trustworthy. Since he narrated so much from his father that was not actually from his hadith, relying on him became entirely untenable."Hafiz mentioned in Tahdheeb that Hakim accused him of fabricating hadith. Bukhari gave his biography in Kabir 4/2/295, and Ibn Abu Hatim in 4/2/167-168.His father, Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Mawhab, his reliability was already established at 517. Ibn Abu Hatim gave his biography in 2/2/321 and mentioned no criticism of him.Haythami mentioned the hadith in Majma al-Zawaid 5:132, with the wording, "Allah never bestows a blessing upon a servant without that servant loving to see its effect upon him." This wording will come later at 9223. As for the wording of the hadith here, its substance is sahih in itself, for it has already appeared at the end of hadith 6708, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Amr bin As.
