The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Jibreel came to me and said, 'I came to you last night, and nothing prevented me from entering the house you were in except that there was in the house the figure of a man, and in the house there was a curtain with images on it, and there was a dog. So order that the head of the figure be cut off so that it resembles the form of a tree, and order that the curtain be cut up and made into two cushions to be sat upon, and order that the dog be put out.'"So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did so. The dog turned out to be a puppy belonging to Hasan and Husayn, peace be upon them, which was under a stand of theirs.
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Qattan, with fatha on the qaf and ta, is Amr bin Haytham, mentioned previously at 7457. Yunus bin Abu Ishaq Subayi, his reliability was already established at 1462, and here we add what Ibn Saad said in 6:252, that he lived to an advanced age, and he narrated from most of the men his father had narrated from, and he died in Kufa in the year 159, and he was trustworthy, Allah willing. The hadith appears in Jami al-Masanid wal-Sunan 7:332-333 taken from this very passage. Abu Dawud narrated it at 4158 through Abu Ishaq Fazari, and Tirmidhi at 4:21 through Abdullah bin Mubarak, both of them from Yunus bin Abu Ishaq, and in Tirmidhi's version the wording explicitly states "he narrated to me" throughout the entire isnad. He said, this is a hasan sahih hadith. Munziri mentioned that Nasai also narrated it. It will come again at 10196, slightly abridged, through the narration of Waki, from Yunus bin Abu Ishaq, and Yunus was not alone in narrating it. Rather his father Abu Ishaq Subayi also narrated it, from Mujahid, so it will come through his narration split into two hadiths, in similar wording, at 8065 and 9051.As for al-qiram, on the pattern of kitab, it is a thick curtain made of colored wool, and the construction here is like saying "a shirt-garment." Ibn Athir said this. And al-nadd, with two fathas, is the bedframe on which clothes are stacked, meaning they are placed one on top of another.8032m, He said, "He kept urging me regarding the neighbor, until I thought," or "I saw, that he would make him an heir."Sahih (8032m). Its isnad is sahih, by virtue of the soundness of the isnad before it. It will come again at 9744 through Waki, from Yunus bin Abu Ishaq, with the same wording. It has already appeared through another route at 7514.
