"Messenger of Allah, whenever we see you our hearts soften and we feel we belong to the Hereafter, but when we part from you the world attracts us and we breathe in the scent of our wives and children."He replied, "If you were always in the state you are in when you are with me, the angels would shake your hands with their own palms and would visit you in your homes. And if you did not sin, Allah would bring a people who do sin so that He might forgive them."We said, "Messenger of Allah, tell us about Paradise. What is it built of?"He said, "A brick of gold and a brick of silver, its mortar is fragrant musk, its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its soil is saffron. Whoever enters it enjoys bliss and never knows misery, lives forever and never dies, his garments never wear out and his youth never fades."There are three whose supplication is never turned away, the just ruler, the fasting person until he breaks his fast, and the supplication of the wronged, which is carried up upon the clouds. The gates of the heavens are opened for it, and the Lord says, 'By My might, I shall surely give you victory, even if only after a time.'"
