Tariq reported,

Ali addressed us and said, "We possess nothing of revelation," or he said, "of writing from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, except what is in the Book of Allah and this document attached to my sword."He was wearing a sword whose fittings were of iron, and the document contained the regulations of zakat.

خطبنا علي رضي الله عنه فقال ما عندنا شيء من الوحي أو قال كتاب من رسول الله ﷺ إلا ما في كتاب الله وهذه الصحيفة المقرونة بسيفي وعليه سيف حليته حديد وفيها فرائض الصدقات
