Abu Uthman reported,

I came to Abu Hurayrah and said to him, "I have been told that you say a single good deed is multiplied into a million good deeds."He replied, "What is so astonishing to you about that? By Allah, I heard him," meaning the Prophet ﷺ (this is how Ubayy put it), "saying that Allah multiplies a single good deed into two million good deeds."

حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا مبارك بن فضالة عن علي بن زيد

عن أبي عثمان النهدي قال

أتيت أبا هريرة فقلت له إنه بلغني أنك تقول إن الحسنة تضاعف ألف ألف حسنة قال وما أعجبك من ذلك فوالله لقد سمعته يعني النبي ﷺ كذا قال أبي يقول إن الله ليضاعف الحسنة ألفي ألف حسنة
