Abu Hurairah saw a horse made of patches of cloth in the hand of a young girl, so he said, "Do you not see this? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Only those who will have no share on the Day of Resurrection make such things.'"

Its chain of transmission is daif, due to two of its narrators being unidentified, a man from Quraysh, from his father. It appears in Jami al-Masanid wal-Sunan 7:529 taken from this passage, but I could not find it in any of the reference works. I think its location in Majma al-Zawaid has simply escaped me. And regardless of the weakness of its chain, it contradicts what is firmly established and sahih from the hadith of Ayesha, that she used to play with dolls, and the Messenger of Allah would come in to see her, and so on. Bukhari related it, 10:437, and Abu Dawud related it, 4931, and Munziri said, Bukhari, Muslim, Nasai, and Ibn Majah related it.The other hadith is that the Messenger of Allah saw with her some toy dolls, and saw among them a horse with two wings made of patches, so he said, "What is this that I see among them?" She said, "A horse." He said, "And what is this on it?" She said, "Two wings." He said, "A horse with two wings?" She said, "Have you not heard that Sulayman had horses with wings?" She said, so he laughed until his back teeth showed. Abu Dawud related it, 4932, and its chain is sahih, and Munziri said, Nasai related it.
