Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of what came before it. We have already noted there that this is with the same complete isnad in 8497. As for his saying "a witness or an intercessor" this is what is established in Jami al-Masanid at this location, 7:199, and it is what is established in the coming narration, and it is also what is established in the narration of Al-Kabir by Bukhari.In the three original manuscripts it reads "a witness and an intercessor," with "and," but this is an error, for the reasons we mentioned, and because the requirement of differentiation by mentioning this isnad right after that, and the requirement of his statement here that there was doubt about it, is that it should be with "or," not with "and," as is clear.
