The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to kill the two black ones during prayer, the scorpion and the snake.Abdul-Razzaq said, "This is how he narrated it to us countless times."
Its isnad is sahih, despite the apparent doubt it contains, because it is certain that it is from Damdam, as we will explain. It has already passed at 7178 through Muhammad bin Jafar, and at 7373 through Sufyan, both of them from Mamar, from Yahya bin Abu Kathir, from Damdam, without any doubt. It has also already passed at 7463 through Yazid, from Hisham, from Yahya, from Damdam. So the doubt here comes only from Abdul-Razzaq.As for the tafsir of "the two black things," it is simply the words of Yahya bin Abu Kathir, as he explicitly stated in both narrations, 7178 and 7463.
