Abu Hurairah reported,

I do not know it except that he traced the hadith back to the Prophet, who said, "Hasten with your funerals. If the deceased was righteous, then you are rushing them to goodness, and if the deceased was wicked, then you are relieving yourselves of them and casting them off your shoulders."

عن أبي هريرة قال

لا أعلمه إلا رفع الحديث قال أسرعوا بجنائزكم فإن كانت صالحة عجلتموها إلى الخير وإن كانت طالحة استرحتم منها ووضعتموها عن رقابكم
