The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A town-dweller must not sell on behalf of a desert-dweller. Do not inflate prices against one another. A man must not outbid his brother's purchase, nor propose marriage over his brother's proposal. And a woman must not demand the divorce of her sister so as to take her place."
Its isnad is sahih. Its meaning has already been given at length in 7247, from the narration of Ibn Uyayna from Zuhri, with the same chain. The prohibition against a city dweller selling on behalf of a desert dweller has already been given in 7310 and 7449.
