Its isnad is sahih. Abu Kathir is Suhaymi Ghubari. His name is Yazid bin Abdul-Rahman bin Udhayna. There is a mild disagreement about the name of his father and grandfather. This is what Bukhari, Ibn Abu Hatim, and Ibn Saad affirmed decisively. He is a trustworthy tabii, deemed reliable by Abu Hatim, Abu Dawud, Nasai, and others. He is not mentioned in his proper place in al-Kabir by Bukhari, and it may have been dropped inadvertently by the copyists, for Bukhari mentions him in the biography of his son Zufar bin Yazid, 394/1/2, noting that his son narrated from him. Ibn Saad gave his biography at 5:403, saying, "He met Abu Hurairah and narrated from him." Ibn Abu Hatim gave his biography at 276/2/4-277. Dulabi mentioned him in al-Kuna, 2:90. This Abu Kathir is not the father of Yahya bin Abu Kathir but is someone else.Suhaymi is with a damma on the sin and a fatha on the plain ha. Ghubari is with a damma on the dotted ghayn and a fatha on the ba.The hadith is in Jami al-Masanid wal-Sunan, 7:513, taken from this source. Nasai related it, 2:215, from Ishaq bin Ibrahim, from Abdul-Razzaq, with this same isnad.Al-liqha, with a fatha or a kasra on the lam and a sakin on the qaf, is the milk-producing she-camel. "Fala yahfiluha," with a kasra and doubling of the fa, means he does not withhold gathering her milk in her udder for days so as to give the false impression that it is abundant. She is called al-muhaffala, which is the same as al-musarrah.See 7374, 7684.
