The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you will enter Paradise by his deeds alone."They asked, "Not even you, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Not even me, unless Allah envelops me with His grace and mercy."

قال رسول الله ﷺ لن يدخل أحدا منكم عمله الجنة قالوا ولا أنت يا رسول الله قال ولا أنا إلا أن يتغمدني الله منه بفضل ورحمة
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Ubayd's name was Saad bin Ubayd. He was an early, reliable follower of the Companions (a thiqah tabii), referred to as the freedman of Abdul-Rahman bin Awf, and also referred to as the freedman of Abdul-Rahman bin Azhar. Bukhari said in al-Kabir 2/2/11 that this is because the two men were brothers. Ibn Saad gave his biography in 5:62, as did Ibn Abu Hatim in 2/1/90. Ibn Saad said, Zuhri said, "He was among the early generation and among the people of jurisprudence." He said, "I witnessed the Eid prayer with Umar."The word "early generation" (al-qudama) was transmitted in al-Tahdhib in a distorted form as "the reciters" (al-qurra). This hadith has already appeared through two other routes, numbers 7202 and 7473, with similar wording.
