The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come until people are struck by a rain that no clay houses can withstand, and only tents of hair will remain standing."

قال رسول الله ﷺ لا تقوم الساعة حتى يمطر الناس مطرا لا تكن منه بيوت المدر ولا تكن منه إلا بيوت الشعر

Its chain of transmission is sahih. It is found in Majma al-Zawaid: 331, where it is said, Ahmad narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. There is a corruption in the text of the hadith there, which should be corrected from this location.Madar refers to hardened, dry clay.
