The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three practices from the customs of the people of pre-Islamic ignorance that the people of Islam will not abandon: wailing over the dead, seeking rain through the stars, and..."I asked Saeed, "What is the third?"He replied, "The calls of pre-Islamic ignorance, such as 'O family of so-and-so, O family of so-and-so, O family of so-and-so!'"
